An increasing lack of consistency in understanding hauntings, ghosts, and other manifestations of spirit beings makes informed knowledge ever more crucial. Thin Veil Investigators believes that our collective knowledge of the paranormal should be shared, to educate everyone on the actual attitude, condition and behavior of spirits. Using our years of experience with the interaction and detection of ethereal beings, T.V.I. resolves to put people at ease and help rid them of their fear. Because we may share our lives, homes, and land with spirits, T.V.I. wishes to assure people that the majority of ghosts are harmless, and that most spirits only want positive communication and reciprocation.
T.V.I. conducts ghost related paranormal investigations independently, and at the request of private citizens, businesses and property owners. Our team does broad, and specific, research of an investigation site, including history, information on locale, documented prior investigations, and anecdotal reports of occurrences.
T.V.I. also alleviates case-by-case concerns as needed, such as:
The occasional relocation of site bound spirits;
Administering clarification to misinformation and confusion about spirit involvement;
Helping to create harmony in households that have disruptive spirits.
During and after an investigation, T.V.I. documents and reports on our encounters of/with spirit beings; including experiences, interactions, spirit interviews and other information. On our investigations, multiple points of view are used, as each member of the Thin Veil team individually records their own findings. Reports from all members present investigating a particular site is included for the completed site record. The final reports of our findings, including individual member records, are also shared with the site host and/or owner.
Ghosts, spirits, and other non-physical entities are almost wholly undetectable by established scientific methods. Psychic ability however, with perception or sense capability beyond or outside the normal range, is a tool that is very useful for gaining awareness of unusual energy and spirit activity. Members of the T.V.I. team are spirit and/or energy sensitive, each with their own specific talents and awarenesses that relate to ethereal energy, spirit detection and/or communication. The T.V.I. team uses psychic
ability, in conjunction with other tools, to communicate and interact with spirits. We also use cameras, video and audio recorders, as well as many other minor scientific tools and investigation related props.
Our motive, though, for investigation and documentation, isn't to prove physical, scientific existence of the paranormal. In addition to helping people, our objective as a paranormal investigation group is, specifically, that during our interaction with spirits, we strive to observe, gather and determine the details of habits, dispositions, methods, and other social behaviors associated with ghosts.
Using our documentation and experiences compiled from many hundreds of investigations, T.V.I. seeks to examine, study, and connect these findings to establish a better informed social understanding of ghosts. We hope that by doing this, and by sharing our results, that the living can move beyond fear, superstition and personal opinion.
